Asylum Seekers On Our Southern Border

We received this email last fall from a charity serving women and girls living in camps on both sides of our souther border while they seek aslyum:  "Right now there are approximately 1000 women and girls in asylum seeker shelters in Tijuana that need sanitary pads reusable or disposable. There are a number of shelters on the US side of the border that have women and girls that have expressed an interest in getting the reusable sanitary pads. As you know feminine sanitary products are very expensive so the reusable products would be extremely helpful.  Your kits come highly recommended and I would like to be able to use them in the asylum seeker shelters."

We were able to provide her charity with 398 Freedom Kits for the asylum seekers in December, 2024, and received this feedback a few weeks later:  

"Happy to report that we were able to take some of the kits to Tijuana yesterday Dec 16. The ladies at Centro 32, the non-profit that works with the asylum seeker shelters in Tijuana, were excited about the kits. They will distribute the kits to the shelters with the most need."
