A New Sponsor!!

A local winery, Paradisos del Sol in Zillah, has created a wine they call PMS (aka, Paul's Mocha Stuff), and they are donating a portion of the proceeds from EVERY bottle to Freedom Kits of Yakima to help combat Period Poverty.  Here's the story from the back of the label, "This wine's story began 20 years ago with some red wine  We decided to create a tawny-style dessert wine infused with chocolate, coffee, and vanilla.  Paul's Mocha Stuff was born, with chocolate in mind!  After ten years in the barrels, it was bottled in 2015.  The wine continues to evolve in the bottle.  Now PMS is ready to go out to the world and not just be good but DO some good.  Recognizing the challenges homeless women face during "that time of the month," we wondered, "How can we help?"  For every bottle of PMS that's sold, Paradisos del Sol will donate at least $4 (no strings attached) towards the purchase of menstrual supplies for women in homeless shelters."

Paradisos del Sol found Freedom Kits of Yakima this September, and we are a perfect match!  We make and donate, free of charge, washable resusable feminine hygiene kits that help women and girls manage their period with dignity and independence.  Our kits last 3-5 years and are zero waste.  The support we receive from Paradisos del Sol allows us to expand our reach in the Yakima area and into the Lower Valley.  THANK YOU, Paradisos del Sol <3
