A Kit For Every Girl

Today we were able to deliver the final 100 kits for the charity that's going to Kenya out of Los Angeles, for a total of 300 Freedom Kits.  We ALSO were able to give them an extra 540 guards.  They will add their own pads and be able to assemble 270 additional kits.

Maureen told me that when she told the on-site charity director in Kenya that they will be bringing 570 kits, the woman was so grateful and emotional.  In prior years, she has had to rely on the school mistress telling her who the most desperately needy girls were to decide who would get a kit.  With this many coming, EVERY GIRL will get a kit.  No one will be left out.
