A Busy August So Far

60 kits to Ghana with Gloria Sana Terry, Founder, Africa is Life Changing, Inc, who began building Sewing Academy Schools in Ghana and Kenya in 2015.  She opens these academies to homeless girls so that they can learn a trade.  They begin by learning to sew very simple items like a skirt, and by the time they graduate, they can sew a wedding dress.  Upon graduation, the girls receive their own sewing machine so that they can support themselves.  These kits will help the girls stay in school.

50 kits to Rwanda with Reid Carlsen, UT, for women and girls in a remote village.

400 kits to Kenya Keys charity for school girls in southeast Kenya.
